Delivery Information

We take time and care to ensure the items you've ordered leave us in perfect condition (as much as manufacturer's packaging allows) and we do our very best to make each individual customer's shopping experience with us a personal and entirely positive one. Despite the additional time this level of care takes, most orders are despatched the next day of receipt of cleared payment.  This is subject to receiving your order during normal working hours and stock availability, but to be on the safe side, we do ask you to allow 2-3 working days for goods to be despatched. 

We allow ordering on out of some stock items that are made in house, these will be subject to the lead times shown on the product. If you have ordered other items which are in stock, they will be held until the order is complete and dispatched together.

Our delivery costs reflect very closely the actual cost to us for the postage and packaging of your parcel - we don't inflate the price to you in order to profit from delivery costs. 

If an item is out of stock, or if we anticipate any possible delay in sending your order, we will try to reach you by telephone or alternatively, by e-mail.  

For special order items we will liaise directly with you.

DELIVERY SERVICES

Standard delivery    
Our standard delivery charges cover mainland UK only and are based on the combined weight of your order. Additional costs will apply for specially requested mail services. Please contact us to establish these costs, prior to placing your order.  

If you require multiple delivery destinations, each separate delivery address will attract a separate standard delivery charge, so please enter items for each address as separate orders.

For large or heavy orders, we may have to use a different carrier service and in those instances, delivery times may vary.  Generally though, we’d expect your parcel to reach you within 2-5 days of dispatch. Please do contact us if your parcel hasn't arrived within one week of having received notification from us it's on its way. 

Courier Service
There are many very competitive services but unfortunately their restrictions on boxes sizes and weight vary so much that it makes it difficult for us to offer this as an accurately priced online option, but if you are not in a rush for your order either contact us prior to placing the order or opt for payment by Bank Transfer which allows us to amend the P&P prior to invoicing you. We will then package your order and check out the most cost effect options for you.

Guaranteed next day delivery
If you need your order in a hurry and would like a guaranteed next day delivery service, please email us at [email protected] or telephone us on  01436 850 217, prior to placing your order as conditions and surcharges will apply.  We will always do our utmost to accommodate specific delivery service requests but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet this on every occasion.  

Overseas Deliveries (outside mainland UK)
We have successfully sent items to, the USA, Canada, Japan, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, France, Spain, Germany and Portugal. Shipping quotes are approximate but any excess is automatically refunded. 

If we can keep to a box 45x35x16cm Max 2kg it can go via Royal Mail.
Europe  - £16.65 
Zone 1   - £22.75 
Zone 2   - £24.45 

The above are the Maximum prices for just under 2kg but you will only pay actual postage based on the boxed weight.

Parcel's outer packaging damaged or opened on arrival?
If the outer packaging has been damaged or opened in transit, it's important that you record this in writing, alongside your signature of receipt.  This will enable a claim if the damage has affected the parcel's contents.

What if you're out? 
If Royal Mail have tried to deliver and you were out, they will leave you a card to advise you how to arrange re-delivery or collection from their depot.  Please be aware that Royal Mail will only hold your parcel for 7 calendar days, after which they will return the parcel to us.  Your original delivery charges will not be refundable and redelivery of your parcel will be charged at actual postage costs (this may be higher or lower than our standard UK charge).
