Safe non toxic for added colour and durability for mini and small parrots

These acrylic beads are great for adding a splash of durable colour. Due to large hole size they work well with either paper rope or leather to create new and exciting hanging toys or incorporated into foot toys which will stimulate your Feathered Friends interests. They also offer a cost effective way of revamping existing, tired toys to give them a new lease of life.  

Quantity - This pack contains 12 assorted beads. 

Approx Dimensions -12mm with a 8mm hole.

Materials - Bird safe non toxic acrylic. 

Suitable for - Mini to Small Parrots only.

Caution: Not suitable for Medium to Extra Large beaks which may bite through them.

Chewability - In our opinion, non-toxic acrylic and plastic toy parts are great for adding a splash of colour and a durable element to any bird toy which won't need replacing as often but they work best when combined with soft and hard woods so that there is also something for the beaks to destroy.
Just a thought...
These little beads come in really handy when you are making a toy with wooden shapes that have a slightly larger hole than is required. By adding these to the end you get a really neat finish not to mention a part that won't need replacing as often as the wood.

Please note: We have found no definitive list for size guidance and some parrot types will fall into other categories, please know your bird or seek assistance from your avian vet. If in any doubt contact us, as we are always happy to help.

Mini Birds - Budgies, Lovebirds, Parrotlets and similar sized birds.

Small Birds - Cockatiels, Grey Cheeks, Small Lories, Green Cheek Conure, Black Cap Conure, Maroon Bellied Conure, Caique, Quaker Parrot and similar sized birds.

Medium Birds - Ringneck, Senegal, Large Lories, Yellow Collar Macaw, Hahn's Macaw, Severe Macaw, Sun Conure, Blue CrownConure, Pionus, Rose Breasted Cockatoo and similar sized birds. 

Large Birds - Congo Greys, Blue Front Amazon, Timneh Grey, Yellow Crown Amazon, Yellow Nape Amazon, Eclectus, Red Front Macaw, Bare-eyed Cockatoo, Ducorps Cockatoo and similar sized birds.

Extra Large Birds - Umbrella Cockatoo, Moluccan Cockatoo, Triton Cockatoo, Blue & Gold Macaw, Green Wing Macaw, Scarlet Macaw and similar sized birds.
