Although these safe are safe for Medium to Extra Large Parrots, what about their shred value.  "Our Ernie" a Blue Fronted Amazon, is classed as large and he thinks they are great fun. He is quite lazy with toys so needs some items that are easy to shred and these certainly fit the bill, especially when sandwiched inbetween other fun toy parts.

Every bird is different but by knowing your birds individual play habits and beak strength, it will help you create toys that are multi-faceted. Try using a combination of durable and shreddable parts for maximum enjoyment.
